Signs, banners, wraps.

Single trucks, full fleets, storefronts and monument signs — one company's identity carried consistently across everything it owns. Every one of these is somebody's reputation driving around Sonoma County, which is the part worth doing carefully.

Barrier Wildfire Defense

A command vehicle for a wildfire mitigation company — which means it has to be recognisable at a glance, from a distance, in smoke.

The livery borrows the visual language people already associate with emergency response: a high-visibility yellow band across a red and black body, with the service line — Ground Applied Fire Retardant — set large enough to read from another lane. The company mark carries the door, and the URL sits along the rear quarter where it's visible when the vehicle is parked at a property.

Cast film over compound curves, wheel arches and door seams. On a vehicle that spends its life on rural fire roads, edge adhesion is the whole game.

Dimensional Signage

830 Chiropractic Offices

A shared practice with four doctors and one front door. The sign has to do two jobs at once: find the building, then find the right people inside it.

The street number leads at the largest size — because that's what someone is scanning for from a moving car — with the practice name beneath it and the four practitioners listed in a clean, equal-weight stack. Nobody's name is bigger than anyone else's, which matters more in a shared practice than most people expect.

Raised lettering on a wood-grain panel, throwing a genuine shadow. The warmth of the grain against a stucco wall keeps a medical office from reading as clinical.

Heavy equipment is a harder surface than a passenger vehicle — riveted panels, tank curvature, and a working life spent covered in dust.

Graphics laid out to survive that: sized and placed so the name still reads when the lower half of the truck is caked, and applied to hold on a surface that flexes and heats. A vehicle like this parks on job sites all day in front of exactly the customers who hire it.

Monument Signage

Madrone Estate at Valley of the Moon Winery

An estate founded in 1863 needs signage that looks like it has been there a while — and still has to be read at 50 miles an hour by someone deciding whether to turn.

The entry monument sets the name in a cream serif on a deep oxblood face, seated on a dry-stack stone pier. The stone does the work of making it look permanent; the flat panel does the work of staying legible. Est. 1863 appears twice — once on the pier and once as a small roundel inside the wordmark — so the date reads whether you are standing at the sign or passing it.

The roadside sign at the vineyard edge repeats the same wordmark on a post-and-panel frame, with the one piece of information a passing car actually needs — Open For Tastings Daily — on a separate rail beneath it. Same typography, different job: one identifies the property, the other converts the drive-by.

Two matching Capstone Roofing box trucks parked side by side, each carrying identical blue and white graphics with the phone number and website across the box side
Fleet Graphics

Capstone Roofing

The side of a box truck is the largest flat billboard a contractor already owns. Two of them parked together is the whole argument for doing a fleet properly.

Identical artwork on both units, positioned identically — so the pair reads as a company rather than as two trucks that happen to work for the same person. The name runs the full length of the box, the phone number and the URL sit on the lower band at a size meant for a parking lot rather than a monitor, and the founding year rides along as the quiet credential.

The contractor's licence number goes on the cab door where it belongs. Artwork stays on file, so unit three matches unit one whenever it arrives.

Vehicle Graphics

Breakaway Bikes

Two vehicles that could not be less alike — a bright blue FJ Cruiser and a black Ram 2500 — carrying one identity, by inverting it rather than repeating it.

On the blue body the mark and the wordmark go dark. On the black body the same mark goes blue, in a metallic film that only shows what it is in direct sun — which is the detail in the clip worth watching for. Neither vehicle was repainted; both read instantly as the same shop.

The services line sits under the wordmark on the shop car, and the rear window of the truck carries the brand it stocks. A bike shop's truck spends its life parked at trailheads and race starts, in front of exactly the people who buy bikes.

A fifteen-second walk-around of a black Ram 2500 carrying Breakaway Bikes graphics in blue metallic vinyl. The camera moves from the front door, where the bicycle mark and monogram sit, along the flank where the wordmark and the shop's town are set, to the rear window panel, and closes on the film's metallic flake catching direct sun.
